        THAI VEGETABLE OIL PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED HAS A POLICY TO OPERATE BUSINESS BASE ON CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) PRINCIPLE UNDER THE PHILOSOPHY “WE PRODUCE PRODUCTS FOR BETTER LIVING FOR THE SOCIETY.” THE COMPANY AIMS TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE TO LEAD TO SUSTAINABLE GROWTH OF THE SOCIETY. THE COMPANY TAKES PART IN DEVELOPING COMMUNITIES AND CARE FOR ENVIRONMENT TO SUPPORT SOCIETY AND COMMUNITY PROGRESSMENT, BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE. THE COMPANY IS CREATING MINDSET, CORPORATE CULTURE, AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT FOR EMPLOYEES TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SOCIETY.

During 2010, the Company arranged following activities to pursue CSR policy:

        The Company set up “A-ngoon Im Boon Purnong Im Nan” (Marit for Children with A-ngoon) project for second consecutive years. This year, the Company worked with Wat Prachanart School, Nakorn Chaisri District, Nakhon Pathom Province to renovate school building special children and cafeteria. The Company also worked with communities to develop young children development center in Nakorn Chaisri District, Nakorn Patom Province. The Company also helped developing traffic light system in Nakorn Chaisri District.

        “Kin Jae Dai Boon… Chai A-ngoon Dai Jai” (Vegetarian with A-ngoon for heart treatment) project is the project where the Company and consumer making donation from sales of every bottle of A-ngoon vegetable oil for The Heart Foundation of Thailand under The Royal Patronage to help the foundation’s patients with heart disease.

        “A-ngoon Huang Yai Hua Jai Tuk Duang” (A-ngoon cares for every heart) project is the project where the Company donates money and necessities to help flood victim through The Rajaprajanigroh Foundation, Red Cross, Thai Army TV5, etc.

        To reduce environmental impact, the Company has continuously implemented plans to reduce environmental impact from production process. Last year, the Company has participated in Carbon Foot Print Project with Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) to reduce carbon dioxide emission from the production process into atmosphere. The Company is the first company in soybean oil soybean meal and full-fat soy industry that receives carbon footprint mark.
